Mumbai, September 18, 2025 – Shares of Xpro India Limited (NSE: XPROINDIA, BSE: 590013) fell by 6.39% during morning trade on Thursday after the company gave updates on its Barjora project. The updates were made on Wednesday and were about a supplier’s financial difficulties and their impact on the project. The stock opened in red at ₹1,216.30 and has continued to fall to an intraday low of ₹1,144.70 so far.

Company Disclosure

In its regulatory filing, the company issued two clarifications to the exchanges regarding its Dielectric Films production line at Barjora on Wednesday:

  1. In the first filing, the company stated that a key foreign supplier has run into financial difficulties. As a result, the company expressed that there might be a slowdown in certain last-stage activities and acceptance tests. However, the company clarified that despite these challenges, it does not anticipate any “fundamental impediments” to project completion or long-term business plans.
  2. In its second regulator filing, which was made later in the day, the company further clarified that all key equipment is in place and dry runs are underway. It also added that the issue is confined to the Barjora project and has no bearing on its ongoing UAE operations.

As of September 18, 2025, 12:11 pm, shares of Xpro India Limited were trading at ₹1,156.00, down by 66.90 points, a 5.47% decrease. The company had an overall traded volume of 0.96 lakh shares while its total traded value and total market cap stood at ₹11.20 crore and ₹2,685.43 crore, respectively.
