New Delhi: Deep-tech startup Yaanendriya has raised Rs 15 crore from venture capital firm Piper Serica to strengthen research and development, accelerate product development, and expand its portfolio of navigation systems, the company said on Tuesday.
The company said it is building indigenous sensor, navigation and control technologies for mobile robots and critical applications.
“Yaanendriya has raised Rs 15 crore from Piper Serica to accelerate its proprietary navigation and inertial sensing technologies for unmanned vehicles, robotics, space and critical applications,” the company said.
Yaanendriya is focused on building core sensor and control platforms that help autonomous systems – from drones and ground robots to spacecraft and underwater vehicles — sense motion, estimate their state and maintain control, including where global navigation satellite service is unavailable, unreliable or intentionally disrupted.
“We started with navigation controllers, expanded into high-precision inertial sensing, and are now bringing these capabilities together for increasingly demanding environments where conventional navigation may not be reliable,” Yaanendriya, Founder, Vamshi Bharadwaj M V, said.
