Mumbai: Logistics operator Allcargo Logistics Ltd returned to profitability in the September quarter of FY27, posting a consolidated profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 19 crore, against a loss of Rs 5 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal.
Revenue from operations for the period under review was at Rs 555 crore, up 3.4 per cent from Rs 537 crore in the July-September period of FY26, the company said.
The improvement reflects the company’s continued focus on strengthening operating margins across its domestic logistics businesses, it added.
In express distribution, sustained progress in service levels, improving network efficiencies have enabled revenue growth and yield improvement, Allcargo Logistics said.
In consultative logistics, higher throughput from existing customers on the back of improved warehouse utilisation and cost optimisation contributed to a sequential improvement in gross margins.
The company said it expects festive-season demand to support growth in Q3FY27, with the automotive, electronics, heavy engineering and e-commerce sectors likely to drive volume growth.
The company added that its key priorities for H2FY27 include restoring volume growth, protecting yields, improving capacity utilisation and strengthening cash generation.
