Mumbai, April 13: Athena Global Technologies Limited has approved a preferential allotment of 7,00,000 convertible warrants to a promoter group entity, Karthikeya Manchala, the company said in an exchange filing.

The warrants have been issued at ₹84 each.

Only 25% of the total amount, ₹1,47,00,000, is paid upfront. The remaining comes later, at the time of conversion. Once converted, each warrant becomes one equity share.

Stock Market Snapshot

Athena Global Technologies share price ended at ₹63.12, down 2.89% as of 15:30 IST on April 13, 2026, compared to ₹65.00 at the previous close, according to exchange data.

The buyer here is from the promoter group. That often signals internal confidence, even if the market response remains cautious in the short term.

What This Structure Really Means

Convertible warrants sit somewhere between intent and action. For the company, this brings flexibility. It secures partial funding now while leaving room for full capital inflow later.

For investors, it introduces a timeline. Dilution is not immediate, but it is possible. That is why stocks often react ahead of actual conversion.

The pricing at ₹84 also matters. It sets a reference point. A signal of where capital is being committed internally.

Company Background

Athena Global Technologies Limited operates in the digital and technology services space, with a focus on healthcare communication and related platforms.

Capital decisions like these are usually aimed at supporting that next phase.

Conclusion

The warrant issue tells you two things at once. Promoters are willing to commit capital. And the equity base could expand in the future.

What matters next is how the company uses this flexibility. Execution will decide whether this move is seen as dilution or as preparation for growth.
