Aurobindo Pharma Arm Launches Generic Version of Advair Diskus in US

New Delhi: Aurobindo Pharma on Monday said its subsidiary Lannett Company LLC has launched a generic version of Advair Diskus, a product of GSK plc, in 100/50 mcg and 250/50 mcg strengths, in the US market.
Advair Diskus in combination therapy is indicated for the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
“This launch marks the first product from our inhalation pipeline to be commercialised in the US, reflecting our continued focus on expanding our portfolio of complex and differentiated inhalation products,” Aurobindo Pharma said in a regulatory filing on Monday.
Aurobindo Pharma Ltd is an integrated global pharmaceutical company headquartered in Hyderabad.
