New Delhi, September 23, 2025: Shares of Bharat Seats Limited are witnessing strong investor demand today, on September 23, after the company announced that the Rohit Relan Family Trust will acquire a 16.38% stake in the company through an inter-se transfer from family members. As of 1:00 PM, the shares were locked in their 5% upper circuit and were up by 8.04 points, trading at ₹168.86. Until now, the shares have traded within a range of ₹168.86 and ₹161.10. The traded volume stands at 3.88 lakh shares, with the company’s current market cap at ₹1,010 crore.

The acquisition is scheduled for on or after September 26, 2025. It will involve the transfer of 1,02,88,358 equity shares (face value ₹2 each) by promoter family members to the Rohit Relan Family Trust. The company will complete the transfer through gift deeds without consideration, as permitted under SEBI’s exemption order dated September 4, 2025.
