Blue Cloud Softech Begins ₹147 Crore IBM AI Order; Shares Rise 5.70%

Blue Cloud Softech Solutions begins delivery of a ₹147 crore IBM Cloud AI infrastructure project in the US, with shares rising 5.70%.

Mumbai, October 7: Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Limited has commenced delivery of a US$15.5 million, approximately ₹147 crore, AI infrastructure project for IBM Cloud through its wholly owned US subsidiary, Global Impx Inc.
According to the exchange disclosure, Global Impx is executing the project under a Statement of Work issued pursuant to a Master Services Agreement with IBM Cloud Inc. The fixed-fee engagement covers AI infrastructure design, deployment and support services in New Jersey, USA.
The project began on September 22, 2026, with the first two phases covering requirement gathering and infrastructure assessment now underway. The broader implementation is structured across 13 phases, with project reviews scheduled at least once every two weeks.

The Blue Cloud Softech share price stood at ₹21.15 as of 9:25 AM IST on October 7, 2026, according to the market data.
The stock was up around ₹1.14, or 5.70%, from the previous close of ₹20.01 at the time. Shares moved above ₹21 during the early trading session.
The market movement came after the company updated the exchanges on the commencement of delivery under the IBM Cloud engagement. The previous close of ₹20.01 was recorded on October 6, 2026.
IBM Project Covers AI Design, Build And Support
The project covers four broad stages: design, build, secure and operate, followed by validation and handover. The scope includes GPU compute, high-performance storage and networking, AI and machine learning platforms, Kubernetes-based orchestration, model training and inference environments, as well as security and monitoring systems.
The engagement has a fixed fee of US$15.5 million, excluding applicable taxes. Based on the company’s stated conversion rate of ₹95 per US dollar, this works out to approximately ₹147 crore. The company said the order is equivalent to about 14.7% of its consolidated revenue of ₹1,002 crore for FY 2025-26.
Payments are linked to five project milestones. These include project kick-off, design approval, deployment, testing and go-live, with invoices payable within 90 days of receipt.
Global Impx Leads US Delivery For Blue Cloud
Global Impx, Blue Cloud’s wholly owned US subsidiary, is responsible for delivering engagement for IBM Cloud. The company said the project is aimed at supporting AI and machine-learning workloads, including model development, training, fine-tuning, and inference.
Blue Cloud Softech said Global Impx became a wholly owned subsidiary in June 2026 and forms part of the company’s AI infrastructure and technology services operations in the United States. The filing also states that neither the promoter group nor promoter companies have an interest in IBM Cloud, and the order is not a related-party transaction.
Conclusion
The commencement of the IBM Cloud project marks the start of a sizeable international AI infrastructure engagement for Blue Cloud Softech, with execution planned through a phased implementation structure.
The company said work is currently progressing through requirement gathering and infrastructure assessment, with detailed architecture, GPU deployment, networking, testing and production handover to follow. The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015.
