Mumbai August, 20: Blue Cloud Softech Solutions has completed the execution of a Memorandum of Agreement with the Global Council for Investment and Business for Africa (GCIB) and Afro Mobile SARL to establish a strategic framework for telecom and digital infrastructure development across Africa.
According to the company’s exchange disclosure, the agreement was originally dated August 7, 2026, and its execution was completed on August 19, 2026, following signatures by all parties.
The partnership covers the identification, structuring, financing, development, implementation, operation and commercialisation of projects spanning national fibre-optic backbones, 4G/5G mobile network infrastructure, international connectivity, telecom towers and digital public infrastructure.
Stock Market Snapshot
The Blue Cloud Softech share price moved higher after the company disclosed completion of the strategic agreement.
As of 9:27 AM IST on August 20, 2026, shares were trading at ₹22.74, up around 1.29%, according to the market data provided. The stock had moved sharply higher around 9:15 AM before giving up part of its early gains.
The market reaction came as the company outlined a broader Africa-focused infrastructure opportunity, although the MoA itself does not create any assured financial commitment or revenue for the company.
Company To Act As Technology And Digital Transformation Partner
Under the agreement, Blue Cloud Softech will serve as the lead technology and digital transformation partner, covering areas such as technology architecture and deployment, platform architecture, systems integration, technology transfer and technical and financial structuring.
GCIB will act as the strategic development and investment partner, including government and institutional engagement and investor mobilisation. Afro Mobile will focus on telecommunications and digital infrastructure, including sector engagement, regulatory relationships and local partnerships.
The initial term of the agreement is five years and can be renewed through mutual written agreement. Project-specific structures, including special purpose vehicles, joint ventures and consortium arrangements, will be agreed separately for individual projects.
Conclusion
The completed MoA gives Blue Cloud Softech a framework to pursue telecom and digital infrastructure opportunities across African markets, with specific projects to be undertaken through separate agreements.
The company said the arrangement is not, by itself, a binding financial commitment, investment obligation or assured revenue arrangement. Shares were trading at ₹22.74, up around 1.29% as of 9:27 AM IST on August 20, 2026.
