Cinevista and KBC Global Lead Top Gainers; UGRO Capital RE and SCI Among Notable Decliners on June 17

Mumbai, June 17: Indian equity markets witnessed heightened stock-specific volatility on Tuesday, with notable fluctuations across small- and mid-cap stocks. Cinevista Ltd and KBC Global emerged as standout gainers, while UGRO-RE and Shipping Corporation of India were key laggards, dominating the downside performance.
Top Gainers on NSE: Cinevista, KBC Global, STL Tech Rise Sharply
Cinevista Ltd’s stock price rose by 19.96%, closing at ₹21.34, up from the previous day’s close of ₹17.79. The stock started at ₹18.15 and went up to ₹21.34 over the day.
KBC Global Ltd also saw a strong gain of 19.23%, closing the session at ₹0.62. The trading volume was also very high, with more than 22 crore shares traded.
Kshitij Polyline, Birla Cable, and Sterlite Technologies Ltd (STL Tech) were other big winners, all of which showed considerable upward movement.

Top Losers on NSE: UGRO Capital RE, SCI Slide
UGRO Capital’s Rights Entitlement (UGRO-RE) fell 22.82% closing at ₹5.41. The scrip opened at ₹6.26 and dropped as low as ₹5.40.
Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) declined 8.38%, closing at ₹215.59. The stock recorded trading volume of over 2.1 crore shares.
Other stocks that saw notable declines included Sigachi Industries, Zenith Steel, and Oswal Agro.
