Great Eastern Shipping Gets ESG Score of 67.2

MUMBAI, May 26, 2025 – The Great Eastern Shipping Company Ltd. (BSE: 500620, NSE: GESHIP) announced that it was successful in receiving the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) score of 67.2 for FY 2023–24. SES ESG Research Private Limited (SES) was the rating agency that independently assigned the rating to the company.

The company, in an official filing, said that SES provided the rating based on all the public information available about the company for FY24 and that it did not commission SES for this evaluation.

The rating given by SES shows that Great Eastern has performed well when it comes to environmental, social, and governance aspects.

This independent ESG rating is expected to provide higher transparency to investors. The investors can now understand the company better, and that it follows responsible investing.
