Highway Infrastructure Signs ₹24.46 Crore NHAI Contract; Shares Rise 0.44% 

Mumbai, October 9: Highway Infrastructure Limited has signed a contract agreement with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) worth ₹24.46 crore for toll operations at Vellancherry Fee Plaza in Tamil Nadu. 

According to the company’s exchange disclosure, the agreement was signed on October 8, 2026, following the Letter of Acceptance received earlier. The contract covers the operation and collection of user fees at Vellancherry Fee Plaza on the four-lane Karur-Dindigul section of National Highway 7. 

The scope also includes upkeep and maintenance of adjacent toilet facilities, along with replenishment of consumables. The contract is scheduled to be executed over 90 days.

The Vellancherry Fee Plaza assignment adds to Highway Infrastructure’s toll management work in the national highway network. The company operates across toll collection, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), and real estate. 

The contract follows the earlier Letter of Acceptance and formalises the company’s responsibility for toll collection and the specified facility maintenance work. Highway Infrastructure said the agreement supports its presence across key highway corridors.
