Indian equity markets may see some profit booking today

US markets ended the day yesterday,  25th June,  on a mixed note. Nasdaq ended the day, up by 61.02 points or 0.31%. Dow Jones ended, down by 106.59 points or 0.25%. S&P 500 ended the day, down by 0.020 points or .00033%.  Tesla’s stock price came down by more than 3% yesterday after its sales in Europe fell year-on-year by 28% in May.

European markets end the day in red

European markets ended the day mostly in red yesterday. This after members of NATO pledged to increase their defense spending to 5% of GDP by the year 2035. Euro Stoxx 50 ended the day, down by 45.06 points or 0.85%. Dax ended the day, down by 143.25 points or 0.61%.

Asian markets begin the day on a mixed note

Asian markets have started the day today, 26th June, on a mixed note. At 8:50 a.m. Indian standard time, Nikkei 225 is up by 407 points or 1.05%. Hang Seng is down by 80.79 points or 0.33%. Shanghai Composite is up 4.61 points or 0.13%. Kospi is down by 67.73 points or 2.18%.

Oil prices seeing some rise today

Oil prices are seeing some rise today, after the steep fall post the Israel, Iran ceasefire announcement. At 8:50 a.m. IST, Brent crude for August delivery is up by 0.27%, trading at $67.86 per barrel. WTI crude is up by 0.45%, trading at $65.29 per barrel.

Indian markets may see some profit booking today after the gains of yesterday.
