Indian Stock Markets End the Day in Green

Indian equity markets ended the day in green today, 21st May, 2025. Nifty 50 ended the day, up

by 113 points. Sensex ended the day, up by 354.78 points. Top gainers at Nifty 50 today were BEL, Tata Steel and Cipla. Top losers at Nifty 50 were IndusInd Bank, JSW Steel and Kotak Bank.

Broad Market Indices End the day in Green at NSE

All the broad market indices at NSE ended the day in green today. All the sectoral indices, except for Nifty Consumer durables index ended the day in green. Nifty Consumer Durables index ended the day , down by 0.49%. Some consumer durable stocks saw selling pressure. Nifty realty index was the biggest gainer. It ended the day, up by 1.72%.

Market Breadth was Positive

Market breadth was positive today. 1753 stocks gained at NSE; 1095 stocks declined. 93 stocks remained unchanged. 50 stocks touched new 52-week high today, 17 stocks touched new 52-week low today.
