JSW Energy Q4 Profit Up By 16%

JSW Energy Ltd. announced its Q4 FY25 results on May 15, 2025, reporting a sharp improvement in profitability and solid revenue growth.
Q4 Performance Highlights:
For the quarter ended March 31, 2025, JSW Energy posted operating revenue of ₹3,189 crore, a year-on-year 15% increase over the corresponding quarter of last year at ₹2,755 crore. New capacity addition and higher asset realization were the key drivers of growth.
Net profit grew to ₹408 crore from ₹351 crore a year ago, rising 16% year-on-year. EBITDA grew 17% year-on-year to ₹1,512 crore from ₹1,292 crore in Q4 FY24.
The company’s total installed capacity stood at 10.9 GW as of FY25. This was led by a 2.8 GW addition even in Q4, of which 1.8 GW capacity was from the KSK Mahanadi transaction and 478 MW from new wind businesses once again testifying to the company’s growth momentum.
Stock Performance:
JSW Energy shares rose 2% on the Q4 results announcement, reflecting a positive market response to its performance. However, the company has seen some selling pressure in the recent past, having reported a one-month fall of 2%, as well as a one-year fall of 16%.
