Lenskart Q1 Profit Zooms to Rs 222 Cr, Revenue Grows 43 PC to Rs 2,714 Cr

New Delhi: Eyewear retailer Lenskart on Wednesday posted a multifold surge in consolidated net profit in the April-June period to Rs 221.84 crore.
The company had reported a net profit (attributable to owners of the holding company) of Rs 60.08 in the year-ago period.
Lenskart’s revenue from operations grew 43.3 per cent to Rs 2,714.18 in Q1 FY26, compared to Rs 1,894.46 crore in Q1 FY26.
Revenue from the India segment grew 30.7 per cent to Rs 1,531 crore, while international revenue rose 38 per cent to Rs 1,203 crore.
Seen sequentially, the company’s profit and revenue rose 10.7 per cent and 7.9 per cent, respectively.
The company added 132 net new stores during the quarter, bringing its total active store count to 3,459.
Lenskart conducted 70 lakh (0.7 crore) eye tests during the quarter, a 39.8 per cent increase over the previous year.
The company’s board approved increasing the equity stake in its Chinese frame-manufacturing joint venture, Baofeng Framekart Technology Ltd, from 51 per cent to 70 per cent. The acquisition of the additional stake is valued around RMB 7.5 million (about Rs 10.6 crore).
The company also announced the incorporation of “OWNDAYS Korea” in South Korea and “Wenzhou Framekart Trade Co, Ltd” in China as step-down subsidiaries.
Furthermore, the board has approved a scheme of merger for its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Dealskart Online Services Pvt Ltd and Lenskart Eyetech Pvt Ltd, into Lenskart Solutions Ltd.
The company reported that sign-ups for its smart glasses, B by Lenskart, which are priced at Rs 22,000 and feature Google Gemini integration, have crossed 80,000.
Lenskart Chairman & CEO Peyush Bansal stated that the company is focused on market creation rather than competition.
“India has not bought its glasses yet. Around 94 crore Indians will need eyeglasses — and our ambition is to serve every one of them: every income, every age, every town… The proof is in this quarter itself: our largest-ever number Chante the sortier, then of customers in the Real Bharat — Rs 500 glasses, lenses and warranty included, sold profitably through Hustlr Club,” he said in a letter to shareholders.
