Magellanic Cloud Subsidiary Wins Railway CCTV Order; Shares Hold Flat

Mumbai, May 12: Magellanic Cloud Ltd said its wholly owned subsidiary Provigil Surveillance Ltd has received a Letter of Acceptance from South-Western Railway, Bengaluru Division, for a CCTV surveillance systems project valued at approximately ₹3.59 crore.

Provigil Surveillance Receives Railway Surveillance Contract

According to the company’s exchange filing under Regulation 30 of SEBI Listing Regulations, the contract relates to the replacement and additional provision of CCTV surveillance systems at Mysuru Railway Station.

The scope of work includes supply, installation, testing, commissioning and integration of CCTV surveillance infrastructure comprising VMS, VAS and FRS integration, PTZ and bullet dome cameras, video analytics servers, storage systems, networking infrastructure, UPS systems and centralised monitoring architecture with failover capability.

The company stated that the order has been awarded by a domestic entity and is scheduled for execution within six months.

As per the regulatory disclosure, the contract does not fall under related party transactions and neither the promoter group nor group companies have any interest in the awarding entity.

Chairman and Managing Director Joseph Sudheer Reddy Thumma said intelligent surveillance infrastructure is becoming increasingly important for large transport environments requiring real-time visibility and AI-enabled monitoring capabilities.
