Mahindra Manulife Mutual Fund Launches Specialized Investment Fund

New Delhi, June 3: Mahindra Manulife Mutual Fund on Wednesday announced the launch of ‘MPOWER SIF’, marking its entry into the newly introduced Specialized Investment Fund (SIF) category by the markets regulator Sebi.

The fund house said the SIF category offers investment strategies that go beyond conventional mutual funds, including long-short approaches, derivatives-based strategies and focused portfolio construction, aimed at investors seeking alternative ways to achieve their financial goals.

In a statement last week, Mahindra Manulife Mutual Fund said MPOWER SIF is designed to complement investors’ existing mutual fund portfolios by using derivatives and other investment tools to create differentiated risk-return outcomes.

“The launch of MPOWER SIF is a significant step forward in expanding our product suite. As investors’ goals and aspirations evolve, there is a clear requirement for investment solutions that offer greater flexibility and use the entire range of tools available to deliver consistent outcomes,” Mahindra Manulife Investment Management MD and CEO Anthony Heredia said.
