June 18, 2025 – Meghna Infracon Infrastructure Limited (BSE: 538668, MIIL), formerly known as Naysaa Securities Ltd., has declared a 1:1 bonus issue of equity shares, rewarding shareholders with one fully paid-up bonus share of ₹10 face value for every existing equity share held. This means that investors will virtually double their holdings at no extra expense.

The company’s Board of Directors has fixed Tuesday, July 8, 2025, as the record date to determine shareholder eligibility for this corporate action.

Bonus Issue Details

The corporation will give out the bonus shares from its reserves, which include the Securities Premium Account and Free Reserves. This action is meant to make shares more liquid and show that the corporation is confident in its financial situation. Investors won’t have to pay anything extra because each bonus share will have a face value of ₹10 and be fully paid up. This will double the number of outstanding shares.

Market Implications

Most of the time, bonus issues are considered a good indication. They often make stocks more liquid and more appealing to retail investors because the price per share goes down after the adjustment. The issue shows that the company is financially responsible and rewards shareholders because there is no cash leakage.
