Why Investors Watch Active Stocks

The list of most active equities offers a quick snapshot of where money is moving in the market. A surge in trading volumes often accompanies earnings announcements, corporate developments or changing investor sentiment. While high volumes do not guarantee further gains, they can signal that a stock is attracting fresh attention from both retail and institutional investors.

Conclusion

Tuesday’s trading session reflected broad-based participation across the market, with PC Jeweller, JP Power and Vodafone Idea leading the NSE’s most active equities by volume. At the same time, Karur Vysya Bank, Jindal Worldwide and Can Fin Homes stood out for pairing strong price gains with heavy trading activity. As the earnings season gathers momentum, stocks witnessing unusually high volumes are likely to remain firmly on investors’ watchlists, offering early clues about where market interest is building.
