Mumbai, July 14, 2025 — The Nifty 50 index started Monday’s session on a flat note in the pre-opening session, quoting at 25,149.50, down by 0.35 points from the previous close. The overall spectrum of the index was slightly positive, with 26 stocks advancing, 17 declining, and 7 remaining unchanged.

Market Overview
The pre-open session showed signs of sectoral rotation with pharma, PSU banks, and select oil & gas names gaining ground, while FMCG and select IT heavyweights saw marginal profit booking.
Among the heaviest weights, Reliance Industries traded flat at ₹1492.20, HDFC Bank edged lower to ₹1983, and TCS held steady at ₹3266. Eternal, Sun Pharma, and ONGC emerged as early movers, while pressure persisted in FMCG stocks like HUL and IT counters such as Infosys and Tech Mahindra.
