Nifty 50 Top Gainers and Losers of June 25, 2025: IndiGo, Maruti Suzuki, Max Healthcare Lead; Coal India, ONGC, SBI Life Top Losers

IndiGo, Maruti Suzuki and Max Healthcare led the Nifty 50 gainers, while Coal India, ONGC and SBI Life Insurance were the top losers as of June 25, 2026, 12:12:51 PM IST.

Mumbai, June 25: Nifty 50 constituents traded on a mixed note on Thursday, with aviation, automobiles and healthcare stocks leading the advances, while select PSU, energy and metal counters remained under pressure.
IndiGo, Maruti Suzuki and Max Healthcare emerged as the biggest gainers during the session, whereas Coal India, ONGC and SBI Life Insurance featured among the top laggards.
IndiGo, Maruti Suzuki and Max Healthcare Pace the Rally
InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo) climbed 4.61% to ₹5,447, making it the top-performing Nifty 50 stock. Maruti Suzuki gained 4.51% to ₹13,845 after strong buying interest, while Max Healthcare advanced 4.07% to ₹1,125.
Mahindra & Mahindra rose 3.80%, Shriram Finance added 2.27%, and ICICI Bank gained 2.08%, extending gains across the financial and automobile space.

The IndiGo share price remained firmly in focus as the stock outperformed the broader benchmark during the midday session.
Coal India, ONGC And SBI Life Drag the Index
On the downside, Coal India declined 1.82% to ₹433.70, making it the weakest performer in the index. ONGC fell 1.60% to ₹236.15, while SBI Life Insurance slipped 1.09% to ₹1,748.50.
Titan, Hindalco Industries and Tech Mahindra also traded lower, reflecting weakness across select metal and energy names.

Financials And Industrials Continue To Support The Market
Private banking stocks traded higher, with ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank posting gains of 2.08%, 1.37% and 1.29%, respectively.
Engineering and infrastructure-linked names also witnessed buying interest, with Larsen & Toubro rising 1.94% and UltraTech Cement gaining 1.17%. TCS and Bajaj Finance also remained in positive territory.
Conclusion
IndiGo, Maruti Suzuki and Max Healthcare led the Nifty 50 gainers on June 25, while Coal India, ONGC and SBI Life Insurance topped the losers’ list. As of 12:12:51 PM IST, buying in automobiles, financials and healthcare stocks outweighed weakness in energy and metal counters, keeping the benchmark’s broader trend mixed during the session.
