Nifty IT Drops 1.69% as All Constituents Trade Lower Post TCS Results

Mumbai, July 11, 2025 – The Nifty IT index fell 1.69% to 37,728 at 11:04 AM IST on Friday. The decline followed the Q1 FY26 results of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), which showed subdued revenue growth despite a 6% year-on-year increase in net profit.
Nifty IT Index Movement
The Nifty IT Index traded lower on July 11, reflecting weakness across major technology stocks. The index opened at 37,702.55 and moved within a range of 37,558.10 to 37,990.80 during the session.
Despite the decline, trading activity remained robust, with a total traded value of ₹2,783.70 crore and a volume of 1.71 crore shares. The index currently trades well below its 52-week high of 46,088.90, but remains above its 52-week low of 30,918.95, indicating a moderate correction amid ongoing market volatility in the tech sector.
