Mumbai, June 23, 2025: Shares of Ola Electric Mobility Ltd (NSE: OLAELEC) extended losses on Monday. The decline follows a block deal executed earlier in the session, as 0.55% of its equity changed hands over seven blocks during the deal. It constitutes the second block deal of the month, following the one on June 3, 2025.

Known for its electric scooters, Ola Electric went public on August 9, 2024. While the company’s IPO was listed at a premium, the stock has experienced a fifty per cent decline over the last twelve months. The buyers and sellers of the deal are unknown. The block deal involved a transfer of 2.41 crore company shares, which changed hands at ₹44 per share (₹107 crore).

The stock opened at a loss and further slipped to hit a 52-week low of ₹43.16; as of 1:20 p.m. on June 23, it was trading at ₹43.65, down 5.27% from the previous close.

Block Deal Activity Weighs on Sentiment

According to the latest updates, 2.41 crore shares, or 0.55% of equity, changed hands at an average price of ₹44 per share in a block deal that spooked investors amid an already volatile session.

It is the second significant stake transaction this month. Earlier, Hyundai Motor Company had divested 3.23% stake (14.22 crore shares) for ₹731 crore at ₹51.4 per share.

Market Outlook

Back-to-back stake sales have shaken investor confidence, pressuring a stock already down over 50% since listing. With high volumes and supply overhang, Ola Electric shows little sign of stabilising. Market focus now turns to Q1 FY26 results and further stake activity.
