Puravankara reports a breakout quarter with 190% sales growth; shares rally over 16% as momentum surprises the market.

Mumbai, April 13: Puravankara Limited delivered a sharp surge in sales for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, with Q4 sales reaching ₹3,547 crore, up 190% year-on-year, according to an exchange filing.
The jump came on the back of multiple project launches and improved buyer traction across key cities. Bengaluru remained central, but contributions also came from Mumbai and other active markets where the company rolled out new phases.
What stands out is the scale of the number relative to the base. Q4 last year was ₹1,225 crore. This quarter has nearly tripled that.
For the full year, the momentum carried through. FY26 sales came in at ₹7,407 crore, up 55% year-on-year.
Collections followed, though at a steadier pace. Q4 collections rose 36% to ₹1,213 crore, while full-year collections stood at ₹4,258 crore, up 15%.
Stock Market Snapshot
Puravankara share price jumped to ₹226.60, up 16.06% as of 13:24 IST on April 13, 2026, compared with ₹195.25 at the previous close, according to exchange data.
A 190% jump in quarterly sales tends to reset expectations, at least in the near term.
What Is Driving This Growth Phase
The company unlocked new inventory during the quarter after delays earlier in the year, which directly fed into sales.
Second, pricing. Average realisations rose 21% year-on-year in FY26, suggesting that demand is not just strong, but also willing to absorb higher prices.
Third, pipeline visibility. Puravankara has lined up around 30 projects over the next 24 months, with a sizeable development value. That gives continuity to the current momentum.
Company Background
Puravankara Limited is a residential real estate developer with a strong footprint in South India and a growing presence in other metro markets.
Its business is closely tied to project launches, sales velocity, and execution timelines. When all three align, growth tends to accelerate quickly, as seen in this quarter.
Conclusion
The numbers suggest momentum, not just recovery. The market has responded accordingly. If execution holds, the current trajectory could extend beyond a single quarter.
