According to the exchange filing, the project involves a common steam plant with a capacity of 300 tonnes per hour (TPH), along with an indicative co-generation power capacity of 30 MW.

Steamhouse India will undertake the EPC work and commissioning of the plant, followed by comprehensive operation and maintenance. The EPC portion is scheduled for completion within 24 months from commencement, subject to contractual conditions.

The O&M arrangement will run for 25 years after completion and commissioning of the project, as per the terms of the definitive agreement.

Stock Market Snapshot

The Steamhouse India share price stood at ₹112.74 as of 9:47 AM IST on September 25, 2026, according to the market data shown.

The stock was down ₹0.97, or 0.85%, at the latest available timestamp. Shares had traded above ₹115 during the early session before gradually moving lower towards the ₹112.70 level.

The decline came as the company disclosed the ₹311 crore contract for the Una project.

Project To Add 300 TPH Steam Capacity

The new facility is being developed at Bulk Drug Park in Una, Himachal Pradesh. The project will provide steam generation and distribution infrastructure for the park and is expected to include a 30 MW co-generation power component.

The filing states that the project will initially operate under a subsidised period before moving to a revenue-sharing mechanism. The revenue-sharing period is envisaged from April 2032 to March 2052, subject to the applicable contractual terms.

The project cost will be funded by Himachal Pradesh Bulk Drug Park Infrastructure Limited as specified under the project agreement.

Steamhouse India Targets Long-Term O&M Opportunity

Beyond the initial construction phase, the contract gives Steamhouse India a 25-year O&M opportunity following completion and commissioning.

The company said the project expands its steam generation and distribution platform beyond Gujarat and adds a long-term operating opportunity alongside the EPC assignment.

Steamhouse India currently has approximately 345 TPH of steam generation and distribution capacity under its own generation and distribution model. Another approximately 360 TPH of capacity is under construction.

With the Una project and the additional capacity under development, the company’s total potential steam generation and distribution capacity is expected to reach around 1,005 TPH, subject to completion and commissioning of the respective projects.
