Adani Enterprises Ltd finished the session as the biggest gainer among the stocks shown, rising 5.13% to ₹3,104.70. Max Healthcare Institute Ltd and Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd also had a strong day, gaining 4.48% and 3.80%, respectively. On the losing side, Infosys Ltd fell 4.34%, while HCL Technologies Ltd declined 3.71% and 3.70%. The selling was particularly visible across several large IT stocks.

Mumbai, September 9: The Indian stock market ended Wednesday on a weak note, although a handful of stocks managed to finish firmly in the green. Adani Enterprises Ltd was the strongest performer in the gainers list, followed by Max Healthcare Institute Ltd and Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd. At the other end, Infosys Ltd, and HCL Technologies Ltd faced significant selling pressure.

Market Activity
It was a day of sharp divergence across the market. Adani Enterprises Ltd gained 5.13%, while Max Healthcare Institute Ltd added 4.48%.
