Acme Solar (+7.6%): Shares of ACME Solar Holdings Ltd are in focus as the renewable energy solutions provider announced the kick start of its qualified institutional placement (QIP), whose floor price is set at Rs 294.13 apiece, a 4.16 per cent discount to Tuesday’s closing price of Rs 306.90 per share.

Sonata Sotware (+7.4%)/ Birlasoft (+7.4%) / Mastek (+7.3%) / Infosys(+5.7%) / TCS (+5.7%): The latest rally has been driven by a mix of improving global sentiment, optimism around artificial intelligence spending, expectations of lower US interest rates and the benefit of a weaker rupee. The immediate trigger came from the United States, where cloud software company Snowflake reported stronger-than-expected results and issued encouraging commentary on demand trends. The results reassured investors that spending on software, cloud services and artificial intelligence remains healthy despite concerns over slowing global growth.
