ATGL(+11.9%) / Adani Green(+10%) / Adani Enterprises(+10%) / Adani Ensol (+10%): After Billionaire Gautam Adani moved to US court seeking dismissal of a US Securities and Exchange Commission’s securities fraud lawsuit, arguing the case represents an impermissible extraterritorial application of US law and fails for lack of personal jurisdiction, US court has accepted Adani’s plea to dismiss SEC case.
Indigo(+9%) : Shares of Interglobe Aviation, IndiGo Airlines’ parent surged up to 10% after the opening bell on Wednesday, April 8 as the US and Iran agreed on a temporary ceasefire resulting in a significant slump in oil prices.
Oil India(-3.7%): Shares of upstream oil companies in India , ONGC and Oil India declined following a sharp fall in oil prices. Brent crude futures tumbled on after the US and Iran announced a two-week ceasefire in hostilities and agreed to allow safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz.
