Petronet (-7.8%): Shares of Petronet LNG Ltd. slumped as the US-Iran war in West Asia continues to shows no signs of easing. Petronet LNG is the most impacted by the issues plaguing QatarEnergy as it has declared a Force Majeure due to the attacks on its Ras Laffan industrial complex, has hurt nearly 17% of its overall export capacity.
IDBI(-7.6%) : Shares of IDBI Bank were in the spotlight , as the government may consider selling a stake in the lender through the Offer-for-Sale (OFS) route to increase public shareholding after the unsuccessful attempt to divest a stake in the LIC-controlled lender, PTI reported.
Muthoot Finance (-6.8%): Shares of gold financier Muthoot Finance was trading with losses amid a sharp decline in gold prices. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold declined by ₹13,974, or 8.82%, to close at ₹1.44 lakh per 10 grams.
