US House of Representative has passed the tax cut & spending bill of President Donald Trump. The bill passed with a vote of 218-214. President Trump will sign the bill today into an Act.

Non-farm employment in America increased by 147, 000 jobs in June. This was higher than expectations. Unemployment rate also fell to 4.1%.

US markets ended the day strongly in green, yesterday, 3rd  July, 2025. Nasdaq ended the day, up by 207.97 points or 1.02%. S&P 500 ended the day, up by 51.93 points or 0.83%. Dow Jones ended the day, up by 344.11 points or 0.77%.

European markets ended the day in green, yesterday. Euro Stoxx 50 ended the day, up by 24.43 points or 0.46%. Dax ended the day, up by 144 points or 0.61%. FTSE 100 ended the day, up by 48.51 points or 0.55%.

Asian markets start on a mixed note

Asian markets have also started the day on a mixed note today, 4th July, 2025. At 8:45 a.m. Indian Standard Time, Nikkei 225 is up by 42.30 points or 0.11%. Hang Seng is down by 190.65 points or 0.79%. Shanghai composite is up by 14.12 points or 0.41%. Kospi is down by 47.15 points or 1.51%.

Indian equity markets may start the day on a mixed note today. Selling pressure increased in the latter half of the day during the past two days. This pattern may continue today too.  According to reports in some media outlets, the compromises needed for an India-US trade deal have been reached. A deal may be announced soon.
