Varun Beverages’ net profit in the March 2025 quarter increased year-on-year by 35.2% to Rs726.4 crore. The company’s revenue in the quarter increased year-on-year by 29% to Rs5,567 crore. Net profit margin of the company in the quarter stood at 13.04%.

Company Declares Interim Dividend

The company’s board declared an interim dividend of Rs0.50 per share while announcing the quarterly result. The record date for the dividend is 9th May, 2025. This means that shareholders who own the shares of the company as on 9th May, 2025, as per the records of the company, will be eligible for this dividend.

As on 1:30 p.m. 30th April, 2025, stock price of Varun Beverages was down by 0. 12%, at Rs528.50. 52- week high price of the company at this time was Rs 681.12. The stock has lost more than 18% till date in 2025.

Competition in Indian Carbonated Beverages Market has Heated Up

Varun Beverages is one of the biggest bottlers and franchisees of Pepsi in the world. It bottles and distributes Pepsi’s carbonated drinks in India. The company currently runs 48 bottling and manufacturing plants. Competition in the Indian carbonated beverages market has heated up with the entry of Reliance through the Campa Cola brand.
