Mumbai: Diversified company Vellora Impact on Thursday reported 1.66 per cent year-on-year growth in net profit to Rs 6.71 crore for the quarter ended September 30.
The company’s net profit was Rs 6.60 crore during the corresponding period last year, Vellora Impact said in a regulatory filing.
Revenue from operations surged to Rs 148.64 crore during the quarter under review, compared to Rs 2.17 crore in the same period last year.
“The transition from chemical manufacturing and trading to Agriculture and Information Technology marks an important step in Vellora Impact’s growth journey. While our Agriculture division focuses on sourcing and supplying grains, pulses and fresh vegetables, our IT division provides technology talent and solutions to support businesses in strengthening their digital capabilities,” Vellora Impact Managing Director Sumit Harjibhai Gol said.
“Going forward, our focus will be on strengthening our capabilities, expanding our customer and partner network, and building a sustainable business model that creates long-term value for all stakeholders,” he added.
For the first half of 2026-27, revenue from operations stood at Rs 290.56 crore against Rs 3.33 crore in H1 FY26. Net Profit grew about three times to Rs 12.63 crore from Rs 4.49 crore in the corresponding period last year.
The company, which was engaged in chemical manufacturing and trading operations earlier, transitioned to IT & ITES and trading of agricultural produce from January 1, 2026, boosting its revenues.
