Mumbai, 5 November 2026: The US stock market saw mixed trading as investors reacted to quarterly earnings, revised financial guidance, corporate acquisitions and major financing announcements. While some companies gained despite earnings beats or strategic developments, others faced sharp declines following revenue misses, weaker outlooks and equity offerings.

Notable movers included Advanced Drainage Systems, Oscar Health, Palantir, Agility Robotics and 3D Systems, alongside several companies announcing significant business transactions and capital-raising plans.

Advanced Drainage Systems Shares Fall 12.84% After Revenue Miss and Guidance Cut

Advanced Drainage Systems reported fiscal second-quarter 2027 adjusted earnings per share of $1.88, exceeding the analyst consensus estimate of $1.79 by 5.2%. However, net sales of $889.4 million increased 4.6% year over year but missed the $930 million consensus estimate by 4.4%. The sales growth was entirely attributable to the National Diversified Sales (NDS) acquisition, which contributed $77.3 million to Stormwater revenue. Excluding the acquisition, organic Stormwater sales declined 5.3%, while Wastewater sales fell 1.3%.

The company reduced its fiscal 2027 net sales guidance to $3.30 billion-$3.40 billion, compared with its previous range of $3.35 billion-$3.55 billion. Management cited higher interest rates and geopolitical uncertainty as demand headwinds. It also indicated that revenue pulled forward into the first quarter was higher than previously anticipated, at an estimated $40 million-$50 million. Meanwhile, the adjusted EBITDA outlook was narrowed to $1.00 billion-$1.03 billion from $1.00 billion-$1.05 billion, while the targeted adjusted EBITDA margin remained above 30%.

Advanced Drainage Systems shares were down 12.84% at $125.58 as of 11:39:39 a.m. EST on November 5, 2026, compared with the previous close of $144.07. The stock opened at $122.70 and recorded a high of $130.73 and a low of $124.54 during the session.

The company also raised its quarterly dividend by 11% to $0.20 per share and disclosed a proposed $530 million acquisition of StormTrap, expected to close in the fourth quarter of calendar 2026.

Oscar Health Shares Fall 1.35% Despite Q3 Earnings Beat and 72.1% Revenue Growth

Oscar Health reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $5.14 billion, an increase of 72.1% year over year and 8.4% above analysts’ consensus estimate of $4.74 billion. GAAP earnings came in at $0.49 per share, significantly exceeding analysts’ expectations of a loss of $0.17 per share. This compared with a loss of $0.53 per share in the same quarter last year.

Adjusted EBITDA increased 304% year over year to $206.9 million, representing a 4% margin. The operating margin improved to 3.5% from negative 4.3% in the year-ago quarter. However, free cash flow remained negative at $1.21 billion, compared with negative $973.7 million a year earlier.

For full-year 2026, Oscar Health projected revenue of approximately $19.15 billion at the midpoint, 2.2% above analysts’ consensus estimates. CEO Mark Bertolini said the company was raising its earnings-from-operations outlook for the third time, citing disciplined pricing, consumer-focused products and technology-driven operations.

Oscar Health shares were trading at $34.72, down $0.47 or 1.35%, as of 12:13:07 p.m. EST on November 5, 2026, compared with the previous close of $35.19. The stock opened at $34.31 and recorded a high of $38.50 and a low of $34.10 during the session.

Kimberly-Clark Shares Rise 0.68% Despite Q3 Sales Decline and Margin Pressure

Kimberly-Clark Corporation reported mixed third-quarter 2026 results, with adjusted earnings exceeding analysts’ expectations while revenue fell short. Adjusted earnings from continuing operations increased 17.2% year over year to $1.70 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.66. However, net sales declined 0.4% to $4.134 billion, missing the consensus estimate of $4.147 billion. The earnings improvement was primarily supported by lower net interest expenses and a reduced adjusted effective tax rate.

Organic sales declined 1.3%, reflecting pricing pressures, weaker performance in China and retail inventory movements in North America. The China social media disruption created an approximately 270-basis-point headwind to organic sales. Adjusted gross margin contracted 130 basis points to 35.5%, while adjusted operating profit decreased 0.9% to $677 million from $683 million a year earlier.

Performance varied across business segments. North America’s net sales increased 0.9% to $2.738 billion, supported by supply-agreement transactions and organic sales growth. Its operating profit rose 2.7% to $657 million. In contrast, International Personal Care sales declined 2.8% to $1.396 billion, while operating profit fell 32.7% to $144 million, primarily reflecting weakness in China and higher input costs.

Kimberly-Clark shares were trading at $109.62, up 0.68%, as of 12:36 p.m. EST on November 5, 2026. The stock opened at $108.30 and recorded a high of $112.85 and a low of $108.30 during the session.

Akebia Therapeutics Shares Plunge 34.28% After Q3 Revenue Miss and Wider Loss

Akebia Therapeutics reported a third-quarter 2026 adjusted loss of $0.04 per share, compared with the Zacks Consensus Estimate of a loss of $0.03 per share and break-even earnings in the year-ago quarter. The loss represented a negative earnings surprise of 33.33%. Revenue for the quarter ended September 2026 declined to $36.9 million from $58.77 million a year earlier, missing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 21.27%.

The decline in revenue was primarily driven by lower sales of Auryxia, whose net product revenue fell to $20 million from $42.5 million. Meanwhile, Vafseo net product revenue increased 3% year over year to $14.8 million, despite a roughly 140% increase in patients receiving the treatment to approximately 11,500. A major customer reduced inventory purchases, limiting reported revenue growth. Akebia estimated underlying Vafseo demand at $19 million-$20 million during the quarter.

The company reported a net loss of $14.4 million, compared with net income of $500,000 in the corresponding quarter last year. Cash and cash equivalents stood at $159.3 million at the end of September. Management expects its existing cash, anticipated revenue and planned loan refinancing to support operations for at least two years.

Akebia Therapeutics shares were trading at $0.4568, down $0.2379 or 34.28%, as of 12:46:17 p.m. EST on November 5, 2026, compared with the previous close of $0.6947. The stock opened at $0.5100 and recorded a session high of $0.5475 and a low of $0.4500.

Aspen Aerogels Shares Rise 0.73% After Third-Quarter Earnings and Revenue Beat Estimates

Aspen Aerogels reported adjusted third-quarter 2026 earnings of $0.11 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of a loss of $0.09 per share. The company had reported an adjusted loss of $0.06 per share in the year-ago quarter. The latest results represented an earnings surprise of 222.22%.

Revenue for the quarter ended September 2026 reached $85.18 million, exceeding the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 17.85%. This compared with revenue of $73.02 million in the corresponding quarter last year. Aspen Aerogels has surpassed consensus revenue estimates in three of the past four quarters, although it has beaten earnings estimates only once during that period.

Ahead of the earnings release, estimate revisions for the company were mixed, resulting in a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold). The current consensus estimate for the coming quarter stands at a loss of $0.10 per share on revenue of $65.23 million. For the current fiscal year, analysts expect a loss of $0.76 per share and revenue of $225.2 million.

Aspen Aerogels shares were trading at $4.8350, up $0.0350, or 0.73%, as of 11:36:31 a.m. EST on November 5, 2026. The stock had closed at $4.8000 in the previous session and opened at $4.9200. It recorded a high of $5.0300 and a low of $4.5300 during the session.

Palantir Shares Fall 9.88% Despite New Enterprise AI Partnership With AmeriLife

AmeriLife Group, LLC, a US-based insurance and retirement solutions provider, announced an enterprise-wide partnership with Palantir Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: PLTR) on November 5, 2026, to introduce artificial intelligence (AI)-driven capabilities across its Health and Wealth distribution businesses. The agreement will bring Palantir’s Foundry and Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) into AmeriLife’s operations, beginning with Crump Life Insurance Services.

The partnership aims to establish an AI-driven operating model built on a unified data foundation rather than adding AI tools to existing processes. The companies intend to use the technology across multiple business functions to improve workflow efficiency, accelerate operations and provide greater visibility to insurance agents, financial advisors and carrier partners.

The collaboration is already producing operational results at Crump Life Insurance Services following a successful pilot. Palantir-powered capabilities are now in production as part of the next generation of Crump’s ACE platform, which supports case management and back-office operations. Deployment across AmeriLife’s wider enterprise is also underway, with additional AI-driven workflows planned over the coming months.

AmeriLife Chairman and CEO Scott R. Perry said the partnership would help transform the company’s operations, from initial client interactions to policy placement. Palantir’s Chief Revenue and Legal Officer Ryan Taylor said the deployment would bring AI capabilities across AmeriLife’s Health and Wealth businesses in a complex and highly regulated industry.

Palantir shares were trading at $154.74, down $16.96 or 9.88% from the previous close of $171.70, as of 1:35:36 p.m. EST on November 5, 2026. The stock opened at $166.72 and recorded a high of $167.25 and a low of $152.60 during the session.

Uranium Energy Corp. (NYSE American: UEC) announced that its subsidiary, UEC US Uranium LLC, has signed long-term uranium sales agreements with two US nuclear utilities to supply a combined 1.1 million pounds of uranium concentrates over six years. The agreements cover deliveries from 2027 through 2032 and 2028 through 2032, respectively.

Under the contracts, the company will deliver 100,000 pounds annually to each utility. Pricing for all deliveries will be based on prevailing spot market rates, without floors, ceilings, discounts or fixed-price arrangements. The agreements maintain Uranium Energy’s unhedged pricing strategy, under which the company reported an average realised uranium price of $93.13 per pound in fiscal year 2026.

Scott Melbye, Executive Vice President of Uranium Energy, said the company was pleased to partner with the two American utilities and provide a reliable and competitive domestic uranium supply.

The company also highlighted potential demand from US nuclear energy and defence initiatives. The National Nuclear Security Administration has identified a requirement for four million pounds of US-origin uranium annually, with deliveries potentially beginning in 2030. Separately, the US Army plans to deploy more than 20 microreactors with similar uranium supply requirements.

Uranium Energy operates uranium production platforms in Wyoming and South Texas, with approximately 12 million pounds per year of licensed production capacity. It also holds uranium resources in Canada’s Athabasca Basin. The latest agreements add to its ongoing engagement with domestic and international utilities for long-term uranium supply arrangements.

Rezera Targets $216.7 Million Nasdaq IPO as GSK Plans Up to $25 Million Investment

Drug developer Rezera launched its US initial public offering (IPO) roadshow on November 5, 2026, seeking to raise up to $216.7 million as biotechnology companies continue pursuing stock market listings. The Boston-based company plans to offer 16.7 million shares at an indicative price range of $11 to $13 per share. It will list on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol RZRA.

At the upper end of the proposed price range, Rezera would have an estimated valuation of approximately $270 million. Pharmaceutical company GSK is expected to purchase up to $25 million worth of shares in the offering. This investment is linked to an earlier agreement between the companies that established a right of first negotiation and a clinical advisory board arrangement.

Under the agreement, GSK receives a right of first negotiation concerning certain late-stage clinical trial data, a potential sale of Rezera’s lead drug candidate, ruvonoflast, and a potential change of control of the company.

Rezera is developing a portfolio of medicines targeting inflammatory drivers of cardiovascular and neurological diseases. Its lead experimental candidate, ruvonoflast, has completed mid-stage clinical trials and is progressing towards late-stage development.

The IPO comes as biotechnology companies continue accessing public markets despite relatively subdued activity across the broader US listing market. Aspen Neuroscience and Bambusa Therapeutics completed their public listings the previous week, while Swiss drug developer Windward Bio filed for a US IPO in October.

Since its establishment in 2016, Rezera has raised approximately $200 million in equity financing from investors including Blue Owl Capital, Epidarex Capital, Novo Holdings and Sofinnova Partners. However, the company reported cash and cash equivalents of $3.9 million as of June 30, 2026, which it expects to support operations until January 2027.

Jefferies, TD Cowen and Cantor are acting as joint bookrunners, while Wedbush PacGrow is serving as lead manager. The proposed IPO will provide Rezera with an opportunity to raise additional capital to support its drug development activities.

SS&C Raises $1.05 Billion Through 2.75% Convertible Notes to Refinance Debt

SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: SSNC) announced the pricing of $1.05 billion in aggregate principal amount of 2.75% Convertible Senior Notes due 2031 through a private placement to qualified institutional buyers. The offering was increased from the previously announced $1 billion, with an option allowing initial purchasers to acquire an additional $150 million in notes during a 13-day period beginning on the issuance date.

The notes will carry an annual interest rate of 2.75%, payable semiannually on June 1 and December 1, beginning June 1, 2027. They will mature on December 1, 2031, and represent general senior unsecured obligations of SS&C, guaranteed by SS&C Technologies, Inc. and certain wholly owned domestic subsidiaries.

SS&C expects net proceeds of approximately $1.029 billion after deducting the initial purchasers’ discount. The company plans to allocate approximately $99 million towards capped call transactions and repurchase around $100 million of its common stock. The remaining proceeds, together with other borrowings, will be used to redeem all $2 billion of its outstanding 5.500% Senior Notes due 2027.

The convertible notes carry an initial conversion rate of 10.0540 shares per $1,000 principal amount, equivalent to approximately $99.46 per share. Under the agreement, Cantor Fitzgerald will act as the sales agent or principal and receive commissions of up to 3% of gross sales.

The ATM programme allows 3D Systems to raise capital gradually by selling shares at prevailing market prices rather than completing a single large offering. The company is not obligated to sell any shares and can suspend the programme at any time. Either party can terminate the agreement with 10 business days’ written notice.

The financing arrangement follows the company’s mixed third-quarter 2026 results. Revenue increased 8.8% year over year to $99.3 million, while adjusted EBITDA turned positive at $3.1 million. However, 3D Systems reported a net loss of $33.5 million during the quarter.

As of September 30, 2026, the company held $120.5 million in cash and investments. It also reported operating cash outflows of $17.5 million during the first nine months of the year.
