Ahmedabad, July 24 – Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (NSE: ADANIENSOL & BSE: 539254) delivered a rebound in Q1 FY26, swinging to a consolidated net profit of ₹538.94 crore, a sharp turnaround from a ₹1,190.66 crore loss in Q1 FY25.

Revenue from operations rose  by 26.7% YoY to approximately ₹6,819 crore, underpinned by strong contributions from both the transmission and distribution segments. The transmission network expanded 26% YoY to 26,696 circuit kilometres, power transformation capacity increased 63% to 93,236 MVA, and system availability remained  at ~99.8%.

Key Consolidated Financial Highlights (₹ in crore)

In Q1FY26, Adani Energy Solutions reported a strong financial turnaround with revenue from operations rising 26.8% YoY to ₹6,819.28 crore and total income reaching ₹7,025.49 crore. EBITDA (excluding other income) stood at ₹1,345.87 crore, compared to a negative ₹353.19 crore in Q1FY25. Net profit after tax came in at ₹538.94 crore, rebounding from a loss of ₹1,190.66 crore last year. The company’s basic EPS improved to ₹4.27 from a negative ₹7.39. Comprehensive income also surged to ₹599.53 crore versus a loss of ₹1,118.08 crore in Q1FY25.

Note: Q1FY25 included an exceptional loss of ₹1,506 crore related to regulatory deferral adjustments.

Segment-Wise Performance

In Q1FY26, Adani Energy Solutions saw notable growth in its transmission segment, with revenue rising to ₹2,188.19 crore from ₹1,746.18 crore in Q1FY25. The trading segment also grew to ₹209.71 crore, up from ₹167.27 crore. The biggest jump was in the “Others” segment, including smart metering, which surged to ₹1,061.54 crore from just ₹92.16 crore a year earlier. However, the distribution segment remained stable, recording ₹3,359.84 crore versus ₹3,372.94 crore in Q1FY25.

  • Transmission EBITDA rose to ₹927.18 crore.
  • Distribution segment reported ₹302.79 crore profit before interest and tax.
  • Smart metering and EPC revenues contributed meaningfully to “Others.”

Stock Performance

Adani Energy Solutions’ stock closed at ₹848.20 on July 24, down 1.73% or ₹14.90. It opened at ₹868.00 and hit a high of ₹868.00 and a low of ₹844.05 during the session.

Regulatory Adjustments

Revenue includes ₹215.26 crore of recovery of Regulatory Asset Charges (RAC) from past years. The total impact of regulatory deferral income was a negative ₹503.89 crore for the quarter.

Standalone Performance

On a standalone basis, the company posted a net profit of ₹156.43 crore, up from ₹76.64 crore YoY, on revenue of ₹825.46 crore. EBITDA margins improved to 2.75% from 1.26% YoY.
