Tata Motors PV, Shriram Finance, Trent, Asian Paints, State Bank of India and Bajaj Auto also featured among the seven biggest index gainers, advancing between 3.42% and 5.32% as improving global sentiment — driven by US President Donald Trump’s announcement of a pause in the Strait of Hormuz escort operation — lifted risk appetite sharply across sectors.
