Mumbai, August 17: Several stocks attracted heavy trading interest by the end of Monday’s session. Vodafone Idea Limited led the volume chart, followed by Motisons Jewellers Limited and PhysicsWallah Limited. At the same time, traders also focused on stocks that posted noticeable price moves.

Vodafone Idea Limited remained the busiest counter, with more than 31 crore shares traded. Despite that level of activity, the stock fell 2.83% to ₹13.71. Motisons Jewellers Limited also saw heavy trading, with over 13 crore shares changing hands, but ended 2.51% lower. PhysicsWallah Limited, meanwhile, edged up 0.74%.

Among the stronger movers, Vikram Solar Limited gained 14.14% to ₹182.80. Kwality Wall’s (India) Limited rose 7.95%, while Suzlon Energy Limited added 4.03%. On the weaker side, Cupid Limited dropped 7.82% to ₹270.90, while Embassy Developments Limited declined 2.73%.
