Mumbai: Jewellery Retailer P N Gadgil Jewellers Ltd on Thursday reported a 52.70 per cent year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 121.11 crore during the second quarter ended September.
The Pune-headquartered jewellery retailer’s profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 79.31 crore during the corresponding quarter of the preceding fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Revenue from operations grew by 22.44 per cent during the quarter under review to Rs 2,666.37 crore, compared to Rs 2,177.62 crore in the same period a year ago.
“We continued to strengthen our retail business in the second quarter of FY27, with retail contributing 77 per cent of total revenue and same-store sales growth reaching 25.5 per cent. The improvement in our retail stud ratio to 11.8 per cent, alongside a higher stud ratio of 17.4 per cent in the northern and central region, reinforces our confidence in the region’s growth potential and validates our expansion strategy,” P N Gadgil Jewellers Chairman and Managing Director Dr Saurabh Gadgil said.
He said the company is also evolving its brand portfolio to address changing consumer preferences.
“Looking ahead, we remain focused on disciplined expansion, particularly across Northern and Central India, with most planned store additions scheduled for the second half of FY27. Backed by our 194-year legacy, trusted brand and evolving retail capabilities, we remain committed to sustainable, profitable growth and long-term stakeholder value creation,” he added.
Shares of P N Gadgil Jewellers on Thursday closed at Rs 584.90, up 2.09 per cent, on BSE.
