Mumbai, Sept 1: Five stocks are in focus on Tuesday, from PVR INOX’s first-ever buyback worth up to Rs 300 crore to a fresh PSU order at Time Technoplast, a Rs 430.19 crore order haul at NCC, a ten-fold profit jump at Milky Mist Dairy Food and a Rs 1,000 crore GPU deal at E2E Networks. Here’s what’s driving each stock and what to track through the day.

PVR INOX (PVRINOX): Board approves first-ever Rs 300 crore share buyback at Rs 1,450 per share

PVR INOX‘s board has approved a buyback of up to 20.69 lakh equity shares worth up to Rs 300 crore, at Rs 1,450 per share, via the tender offer route — roughly a 20 per cent premium over Monday’s close of Rs 1,207.70. It is the multiplex chain’s first-ever buyback since listing. September 4 has been fixed as the record date, with the promoter group set to participate, and DAM Capital Advisors named as manager. The move follows last week’s disclosure that the board would consider a repurchase, which had already lifted the stock as investors bet on capital returns after the company’s recent swing back to profit.

Time Technoplast (TIMETECHNO): Bags Rs 87.53 crore PSU order for CNG storage cascades

Time Technoplast has secured an order worth approximately Rs 87.53 crore from a public sector joint venture of two Maharatna PSUs, for Type IV Composite CNG Mobile Storage Cascades, to be deployed across the client’s CNG and City Gas Distribution network with execution expected within a year. The company holds an early-mover edge in high-pressure Type IV composite technology with PESO clearance, and said the deal is not a related-party transaction. The order adds to its composite products book even as it separately pursues a broader clean-energy and recycling push.

NCC (NCC): Wins three orders worth Rs 430.19 crore in buildings division

NCC has secured three separate orders worth a combined Rs 430.19 crore, excluding GST, during August, all pertaining to its buildings division and won in the normal course of business with no related-party involvement. The buildings vertical remains NCC’s largest segment, accounting for roughly 28 per cent of its consolidated order book of about Rs 81,214 crore as of June 30. The fresh wins add to a steady stream of inflows and reinforce execution visibility in the company’s core business.

Milky Mist Dairy Food (MILKYMIST): Q1 profit surges 10-fold, revenue up 43.6% YoY

Milky Mist Dairy Food‘s consolidated net profit surged roughly ten-fold year-on-year to Rs 64.7 crore from Rs 6.5 crore in the June quarter, while revenue climbed 43.6 per cent to Rs 973.4 crore from Rs 678.1 crore. EBITDA rose 77 per cent to Rs 143.8 crore, with margins expanding to 15 per cent from 12 per cent, helped by higher volumes, an improved mix and better pricing. Growth was broad-based, led by strong summer demand for ice cream, curd and yogurt, with an extended South India summer supporting sales.

E2E Networks (E2E): Signs Rs 1,000 crore term sheet with sovereign AI firm for NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs

E2E Networks has signed a binding term sheet with an India-based Sovereign AI company for NVIDIA Blackwell cloud GPUs and allied services, valued at approximately Rs 1,000 crore excluding taxes, running through June 2029. The customer is a domestic entity unrelated to E2E’s promoter group, and the deal is not a related-party transaction. It converts the Blackwell capacity E2E deployed at the end of May from a pay-as-you-go model into a longer-term commitment, lifting revenue visibility as sovereign AI infrastructure demand builds in India.

Broader Read

Taken together, Tuesday’s triggers span a maiden capital-return move at PVR INOX, steady PSU order inflows for Time Technoplast and NCC, a standout earnings beat at Milky Mist Dairy Food, and a large multi-year commitment underscoring rising sovereign AI infrastructure demand at E2E Networks — none tied to the broader narrative around global central bank policy or crude oil prices, giving investors company-specific catalysts to weigh as Tuesday’s session gets under way.
