Supreme Power secures ₹39.90 crore order; shares surge 6.03% as investors respond to strong order inflow.

Mumbai, April 13: Supreme Power Equipment Limited has secured a ₹39.90 crore order from an EPC company based in Hyderabad, adding fresh momentum to its order pipeline, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The scope is clear and aligned with what the company already does best. It will supply 20MVA, 110/33–11kV power transformers, equipment typically used in power transmission and distribution networks.
Execution is expected over a period of 13 to 17 months. The order is domestic and has been awarded on an arm’s length basis, with no promoter or related party involvement.
Stock Market Snapshot
Supreme Power Equipment share price moved to ₹192.50, up 6.03% as of 13:13 IST on April 13, 2026, compared with ₹181.55 at the previous close, according to exchange data.
The move was steady rather than erratic. The stock opened lower at ₹180.00, but buying interest built up as the session progressed.
This kind of reaction is typical, especially in SME-listed companies.
Why This Order Matters More Than It Looks
On paper, ₹39.90 crore may not appear very large in the broader market context.
But for a company of this scale, it is significant.
It strengthens the order book. It supports utilisation of manufacturing capacity. And it provides a clearer revenue pipeline over the next year or so.
There is also a sectoral angle. Demand for power equipment continues to be supported by infrastructure expansion and grid upgrades. Orders like this are often part of a larger project ecosystem.
Conclusion
For now, the market has responded positively. The next phase will depend on execution. Timely delivery, cost control, and margin performance will determine whether this momentum sustains.
