Mumbai August, 28: ACME Solar Holdings Limited has received a 300 MW order from Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) under its assured peak power tender, with the company’s shares rising 2.41% in afternoon trade.
ACME Solar Receives 300 MW Order From SECI
According to the company’s exchange disclosure, ACME Solar has received the Letter of Award from SECI for 300 MW of contracted capacity under the tender for assured peak supply of 6,000 MWh.
The tender covers assured peak power of 1,500 MW for four hours and was conducted through the Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding process. The order carries a tariff of ₹6 per kWh for the entire Power Purchase Agreement tenure.
The scheduled commencement of supply is 18 months from the date of signing of the PPA, while the project tenure will extend for 25 years from the scheduled commencement of supply.
The order follows ACME Solar’s earlier disclosure dated August 25, 2026, in which the company had announced that it emerged as a successful bidder under the SECI tender.

ACME Solar shares were trading at ₹395.60 as of 2:46:47 PM IST on August 28, 2026, up ₹9.30, or 2.41%, from the previous close, according to the market data provided.
The stock opened around ₹390 and moved higher during the session, briefly approaching ₹398 before giving up part of the gains. It remained above ₹395 in afternoon trade.
ACME Solar share price stayed in positive territory after the company disclosed receipt of the 300 MW order from SECI.
ACME Solar Adds Assured Peak Power Order
ACME Solar operates across renewable power generation and energy storage, with its portfolio including solar, battery energy storage and hybrid renewable energy projects.
The latest order adds 300 MW of contracted capacity under an assured peak power structure. Unlike a conventional standalone solar contract, the tender is designed around specified peak power supply requirements.
The exchange filing classified the order as domestic. It also stated that the promoter or promoter group has no interest in SECI and that the transaction does not fall under related-party transactions.
Order Comes With 25-Year Supply Framework
The order provides for a 25-year project tenure from the scheduled commencement of supply, with supply expected to begin 18 months after execution of the PPA.
The company has not disclosed the total investment required for the project or its expected revenue contribution. The order has been secured at a tariff of ₹6 per kWh for the full PPA tenure.
With the SECI order now formally received, ACME Solar has added another long-term contracted project to its renewable energy portfolio. The shares were up 2.41% as of 2:46:47 PM IST on August 28, 2026.
