Mumbai, August 25: ACME Solar Holdings Limited has secured 300 MW of contracted capacity in a Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) tender for assured peak power supply, while its shares traded lower during Tuesday’s session.

According to an exchange disclosure dated August 25, 2026, ACME Solar emerged as a successful bidder in SECI’s e-reverse auction for the selection of renewable energy power developers for assured peak supply of 6,000 MWh, or 1,500 MW for four hours, from ISTS-connected renewable energy projects.

ACME Solar secured 300 MW of contracted capacity at a discovered tariff of ₹6 per kWh. The company will supply 1,200 MWh, equivalent to 300 MW for four hours, during the contracted supply period.

The award also adds to the company’s battery energy storage plans. ACME said it already has the required connectivity grant and a substantial portion of the land needed for the project, which it expects will help with execution and commissioning.

Once the power purchase agreement is executed, the project will add 1.2 GWh to ACME Solar’s battery energy storage portfolio. The company said this will take its PPA-signed BESS pipeline to approximately 15 GWh.

Stock Market Snapshot

ACME Solar share price stood at ₹399.25, down ₹9.90 or 2.42%, as of 12:58 PM IST on August 25, 2026, according to the market data provided.

The stock spent most of the morning below the ₹400 mark after briefly trading around ₹401. It weakened to nearly ₹391 around 10:30 AM before recovering towards ₹400 later in the session.

The recovery was not enough to push the stock into positive territory. At the cited timestamp, shares remained 2.42% lower despite the company’s announcement of the new 300 MW award.
