CNG Rate Today, July 7, 2026: CNG Prices Steady in All Cities

Mumbai: July 7: CNG rates held steady in all 15 cities on our rollback tracker on Tuesday, following Hyderabad’s Rs 6 per kg increase yesterday that pushed the gap between cheapest and costliest city in the country to nearly Rs 20 per kg. Websites of Indraprastha Gas, Mahanagar Gas, GAIL Gas and Torrent Gas showed no city changed rates today.

Hyderabad remains India’s costliest city for CNG at Rs 103.00 per kg followed by UP’s Firozabad at Rs 98.00 per kg.

Fuel remains cheapest in New Delhi at Rs 83.09 per kg where prices didn’t budge for another day. Rates in Delhi are close to Rs 3 cheaper than what customers pay in Mumbai (Rs 86.00 per kg) and about Rs 8.60 per kg cheaper than what Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) charges customers in NCR satellite cities of Noida (Rs 91.70 per kg) and Ghaziabad (Rs 91.70 per kg).

Fuel prices also held in Gurugram at Rs 88.12 per kg and Rewari at Rs 87.70 per kg while remaining at Rs 91.50 per kg in Meerut. Sonipat remains the NCR’s most expensive city for CNG at Rs 94.00 per kg.

Chennai, Bangalore, Mathura and Bharatpur held at Rs 97.00 per kg while Dewas remained India’s cheapest city for CNG in central India at Rs 96.00 per kg.

Tallying up the difference between cheapest and costliest cities to buy CNG today, we get a spread of Rs 19.91 with New Delhi and Hyderabad on either ends, same as yesterday. Widest spread within a cluster continues to be NCR at Rs 10.91, from Rs 83.09 per kg in Delhi to Rs 94.00 per kg in Sonipat.
