The market saw a mixed set of stock-specific moves by the end of September 8, 2026. Bharat Electronics Ltd led the gainers, rising 1.62% to ₹410.55, while Hindustan Unilever Ltd and Eicher Motors Ltd also posted gains of nearly 1%. Hindustan Unilever Ltd and Eicher Motors Ltd followed with gains of 1.02% and 0.98%, respectively. On the other side, SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd recorded the sharpest fall at 2.04%, while ICICI Bank Ltd and Axis Bank Ltd also faced selling pressure.
