Mumbai, September 22: Vodafone Idea, PC Jeweller, Jaiprakash Power Ventures and Anlon Healthcare were among the most actively traded stocks by volume on the NSE on Tuesday, with the counters witnessing significant price movements amid company-specific developments. Vodafone Idea shares gained 2.53%, while PC Jeweller advanced 3.52% and Anlon Healthcare surged 9.98% to hit the upper circuit. Jaiprakash Power Ventures, meanwhile, fell 2% as investors booked profits after its sharp rally in the previous session.

Vodafone Idea Limited (up 2.53%)

Vodafone Idea shares snapped a five-session losing run on Tuesday, although the telecom operator continues to face regulatory action over its network quality and service standards.

In a regulatory filing last Wednesday, the company said the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) had issued an order concerning its failure to meet prescribed quality-of-service benchmarks across multiple service areas in November 2025. The regulator imposed a penalty of 2 lakh over the violations.

Vodafone Idea said it was examining the order and would determine the appropriate course of action after reviewing the matter.

The latest penalty follows a separate TRAI order disclosed by Vodafone Idea earlier over breaches of specified quality-of-service parameters across various service areas in October 2025. That order also involved a 2 lakh penalty.

With the two orders relating to consecutive months, regulatory scrutiny has put the spotlight on Vodafone Idea’s network performance as the company continues efforts to strengthen its operations and financial position.

PC Jeweller Limited (up 3.52%)

PC Jeweller shares rose on Tuesday after the company announced the allotment of 74.08 lakh equity shares to promoter and Managing Director Balram Garg following the conversion of an equal number of fully convertible warrants.

The company said it received 10 crore as the balance amount towards the conversion, at 13.50 per warrant, representing 75% of the 18 issue price. The newly allotted shares rank pari passu with existing equity shares.

Following the allotment, PC Jeweller’s paid-up equity share capital increased to 975.95 crore from 975.21 crore.

The latest conversion is part of the promoter’s earlier preferential allotment of 9.72 crore warrants. PC Jeweller has also been progressing with debt reduction, having previously said it had cleared debt with 11 of 14 consortium banks and discharged more than 96% of the outstanding debt with the remaining three.

Jaiprakash Power Ventures Limited (down 2%)

Shares of Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd declined on Tuesday as investors booked profits following the sharp rally in the previous session. The stock had surged on Monday after the power generation company announced a 511 crore settlement with the National Asset Reconstruction Company Ltd (NARCL), raising expectations of a potential resolution of its insolvency proceedings.

The rally was triggered by the settlement agreement under which Jaiprakash Power Ventures and NARCL agreed to settle the outstanding claim for 511 crore as a full and final payment. The settlement remains subject to specified conditions and the execution of definitive agreements.

Jaiprakash Power Ventures said proceedings under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code would be withdrawn once all the conditions stipulated in the settlement are fulfilled. The agreement marks a step towards resolving the company’s outstanding claim and exiting the insolvency process.

The development follows a recent clarification from Adani Power, which denied media reports that it was planning to raise its stake in Jaiprakash Power Ventures to 51% by the end of 2026. The clarification came amid speculation over a possible increase in Adani Power’s holding, leaving the NARCL settlement as the key disclosed corporate development behind Monday’s sharp move in JP Power shares.

Anlon Healthcare Limited (up 9.98%)

Shares of Anlon Healthcare hit the upper circuit on Tuesday after the pharmaceutical company disclosed the incorporation of a wholly owned subsidiary in Nigeria and provided additional details on its proposed share-swap transactions involving Apiqo Organics and Bizotic Lifescience. The stock had already gained sharply in the previous session.

Anlon Healthcare said Anlon Healthcare Nigeria Limited was incorporated on September 20, 2026, as its subsidiary. The company said the new entity is intended to strategically complement and expand its existing business in the West African market and provide access to 16 West African countries through the local entity.

In a separate disclosure, Anlon Healthcare provided additional information on its proposed share swap for the acquisition of 44.94% of Apiqo Organics Private Limited and 47.41% of Bizotic Lifescience Private Limited. The transaction was approved by shareholders at the company’s annual general meeting held on September 5, 2026.

The company had earlier entered into share-swap agreements. The latest disclosure was made to provide additional information to public shareholders.

The developments come as Anlon Healthcare expands through acquisitions and overseas operations. The company has been pursuing inorganic growth through the proposed Apiqo Organics and Bizotic Lifescience transactions, while the incorporation of the Nigerian subsidiary marks a move to strengthen its presence in the West African market.

Anlon Healthcare’s shares had also attracted exchange scrutiny earlier this month following a significant price movement. The company subsequently told the exchanges that it was not aware of any information or event other than disclosures already made that could have a bearing on the movement in its securities.
