Godrej Interio Targets ₹10,000 Cr Revenue by FY29 With New Large-Format Stores in Tier II/III Cities

Mumbai, September 10, 2025: Godrej Interio is gearing up for aggressive growth, with the goal of doubling its current ₹4,000 crore revenue to ₹10,000 crore annually by 2029. Godrej Interio is the furniture and interiors subsidiary of Godrej Enterprises.
Store Expansion Strategy
Godrej Interio’s expansion plan includes launching 20,000 sq ft mega stores in major metros alongside mid-sized 5,000 sq ft outlets in Tier II and Tier III cities. These large-format stores will be the core of the growth plan and serve as the centerpiece of its urban retail strategy.
Growth and Reach
Growing at a 16–17% yearly rate, Interio stands as the fastest-rising business under the Godrej umbrella. It plans to add 50–60 new mid-sized outlets and 4–5 flagship big format stores, reaching nearly 1,500 outlets throughout India in the next three years, up from the current 1,000 stores across digital and physical formats.
Investments in Digital and Store Infrastructure
For FY26, Godrej Interio will be investing ₹100 crore into digital expansion and customer experience. In the coming three years, the firm plans to invest ₹200 crore more, ₹100 crore for improvements and expansion of stores and ₹100 crore for product launches, on top of ₹650–700 crore already invested in manufacturing since the last five to six years.
Broader Business Strategy
The brand’s strategy of Godrej Interio spans premium to budget-friendly segments, focusing on design-led innovation. Ensuring long-term client relationships, Interio prioritises to cover the full journey—from co-creating designs to after-sales services such as reupholstery.
Business-to-Business (B2B) Focus
Nearly 55% of Godrej Interio’s total revenue comes from the B2B segment, which serves as a major growth engine. Plans are in place to expand partnerships with corporates, government, and institutions to scale this business further. , leveraging the company’s expertise in design collaboration, project execution, and long-term support. Experts believe that Interio’s strengths in co-designing, large installations, and after-sales services provide a distinct market edge.
