Kakatiya Cement Sugar & Industries Gains 2.47% as High Court Allows Continuation of Limestone Mining

Hyderabad, October 23, 2025 – Shares of Kakatiya Cement Sugar & Industries Limited (NSE: KAKATCEM, BSE: 500234) rose 2.47% on Thursday, following the confirmation of having been granted interim relief by the Andhra Pradesh High Court, permitting continued carriage of limestone out of its Jaggaipeta Reserve Forest leasehold.
High Court Interim Relief and Mining Continuation
The Company informed that the Hon’ble High Court of Andhra Pradesh had issued interim directions on October 8, 2025, in Writ Petition No. 26267 of 2025, providing relief up to November 19, 2025. Permits in Form 1 were granted by the District Forest Officer (DFO), NTR Division, Vijayawada, on October 21, 2025, to allow the transportation of 69,000 metric tonnes of limestone to its Cement plant.
The Company had received such intimation on 23rd October, 2025, with assurance of continuation of operations with no financial or operational impact as on date, following the disclosure under SEBI (LODR) Regulation 30 and SEBI Circular dated July 13, 2023.
