Aether Industries Q1 FY26 Revenue Surges 35% YoY; PAT at ₹470 Crore Despite Sequential Dip

Surat, July 24, 2025 — Aether Industries Ltd (NSE: AETHER | BSE: 543534) delivered a strong operational performance in the first quarter of FY26, with consolidated revenue climbing 35% year-on-year and profit after tax (PAT) growing 57% YoY, despite a 7% sequential decline in net profits due to one-off exceptional items.
Q1 FY26 Consolidated Financial Performance
- Revenue from operations grew to ₹2,561 crore in Q1 FY26, up 35% year-on-year (YoY) and 7% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ).
- Total income rose to ₹2,587 crore, also reflecting a 35% YoY and 5% QoQ increase.
- EBITDA nearly doubled to ₹781 crore, registering a 94% YoY growth and a modest 2% rise QoQ.
- Profit before tax (PBT) stood at ₹616 crore, up 57% YoY, though it saw a 3% sequential decline.
- Profit after tax (PAT) came in at ₹470 crore, showing a 57% YoY jump, but dipped 7% QoQ from ₹503 crore in Q4 FY25.
- Basic earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter stood at ₹3.55, up from ₹2.26 in Q1 FY25, though slightly down from ₹3.79 in the previous quarter.
Standalone Financial Snapshot
- Revenue from operations for Q1 FY26 stood at ₹2,143 crore, nearly unchanged from ₹2,147 crore in Q4 FY25, and up from ₹1,800 crore in Q1 FY25.
- EBITDA rose to ₹660 crore, slightly higher than ₹646 crore in the previous quarter and up significantly from ₹405 crore in the year-ago period.
- Profit after tax (PAT) came in at ₹401 crore, lower than ₹429 crore in Q4 FY25 but higher than ₹302 crore in Q1 FY25.
- Total income stood at ₹2,175 crore, marginally down from ₹2,203 crore in the previous quarter but up from ₹1,920 crore a year ago.
Business Highlights and Strategic Developments
- Milliken Partnership: Aether formalized a long-term contract with Milliken Chemical and Textile (India) Co. Pvt. Ltd., with exclusive manufacturing rights at its Site 3++ facility, which will be dedicated to a key strategic product. Commissioning is expected by Q4 FY26.
- Site 5: Civil and equipment works are underway, with commissioning of two production blocks by end-Q3 FY26.
- Land Acquisition: An adjacent parcel has been secured, expanding Site 5 to 46 acres, enabling long-term scaling.
- Customer Growth: The company added six new clients across its Contract Manufacturing (CEM), Large-Scale Manufacturing (LSM), and CRAMS models in Q1.
- R&D Focus: ₹169 Cr spent on R&D in Q1 FY26, representing 6.54% of total revenue, reaffirming Aether’s innovation-centric growth model.
Board & Regulatory Update
Aether acknowledged a notice from NSE for non-compliance under Regulation 23(9) for delayed submission of related party disclosures for the period ending March 2025. The company attributed this to a technical submission error, which is under joint review with the NSE.
