Maruti Suzuki’s May Sales Up by 3.2%

New Delhi | June 2, 2025: Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (NSE: MARUTI, BSE: 532500) reported a 3.2% year-on-year increase in total sales for May 2025. In May 2025, it delivered 180,077 units compared to 174,551 units in May 2024.

Segment-wise Performance
- Mini Segment (Alto, S-Presso): Down 31.6% YoY to 6,776 units
- Compact Segment (Baleno, Swift, Dzire, WagonR, etc.): Fell 9.8% YoY to 61,502 units
- Mid-Size Sedan (Ciaz): Dropped 37.3% YoY to 458 units
- Utility Vehicles (Brezza, Ertiga, Fronx, Grand Vitara, etc.): Grew 1.3% YoY to 54,899 units
- Vans (Eeco): Increased 12.5% YoY to 12,327 units
- LCV (Super Carry): Marginal rise to 2,728 units
Export Momentum & OEM Sales
Exports nearly doubled, surging 79.7% year-over-year (YoY) to 31,219 units. Meanwhile, sales to other original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) dipped slightly to 10,168 units, down from 10,490 units a year ago.
