Reliance Industries Q1FY26 Results: Net Profit Surges 76.5% YoY to ₹30,783 Cr, Jio and Retail Lead Growth

Mumbai, July 18 – Driven by strong operational performance across digital, retail, and O2C segments, Reliance Industries Ltd (NSE: RELIANCE, BSE: 500325) posted its highest-ever consolidated quarterly net profit at ₹30,783 crore in Q1FY26, marking a 76.5% year-on-year (YoY) increase.

Jio-bp continues to outperform with 1,991 retail outlets and industry-leading volume growth.
Oil & Gas Exploration
- Revenue: ₹6,103 crore (–1.2% YoY)
- EBITDA: ₹4,996 crore (–4.1% YoY)
Production from the KGD6 block declined 7.9% YoY, while CBM output rose 21.7%.
JioStar (Media & Entertainment)
- Revenue: ₹11,222 crore
- EBITDA: ₹1,017 crore (+31.4% YoY)
- MAUs on JioHotstar: 460 million+
- IPL 2025 Reach: 652 million viewers on digital; 1.19 billion overall
Strategic Outlook
- Capex for Q1FY26 stood at ₹29,875 crore, largely towards telecom and retail expansions.
- Net debt remains contained at ₹1.17 lakh crore; net debt-to-EBITDA at a healthy 0.51x.
- Key launches like JioGames Cloud, JioPC, and expansion of JioMart’s hyperlocal delivery (daily orders up 175% YoY) reinforce Reliance’s digital-first growth strategy.
- One of the major highlights of the quarter was JioAirFiber, which emerged as the world’s largest Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) service, with a subscriber base of 7.4 million.
