Adani Green Energy Q2FY26 Profit Rises 25% YoY to ₹644 Crore; Revenue Climbs to ₹3,249 Crore

Ahmedabad, October 29, 2025: Adani Green Energy Limited (NSE: ADANIGREEN) announced a 25% growth in consolidated net profit to ₹644 crore in the quarter ending September 30, 2025 (Q2FY26), compared to ₹515 crore in the same quarter last year. The performance of the renewables energy major was aided by strong operational income, steady finance costs, and a slight recovery in other income.
Adani Green Energy Limited, part of the Adani Group, is India’s leading renewable energy company engaged in the development, construction, ownership, and operation of utility-scale solar and wind power projects. Listed on both BSE and NSE, the company has a diversified presence across multiple Indian states with a rapidly expanding renewable capacity portfolio.
Financial Highlights
In Q2FY26, Adani Green’s revenue from operations remained stable at ₹3,008 crore, almost unchanged quarter-on-quarter from ₹3,005 in Q2FY25. However, this was down from ₹3,740 crore in the last quarter. Total income was reported at ₹3,249 crore, down 4.3% YoY, and down 18.9% quarter-on-quarter.
Total expenses were reported at ₹2,874 crore, slightly higher than ₹2,857 crore a year ago, but down 5.8% quarter-on-quarter. Profit before tax was reported at ₹375 crore, down 30.4% YoY and down 60.8% quarter-on-quarter.
Net profit after accounting for joint ventures rose 25% year-on-year to ₹644 crore but declined 21.8% on a sequential basis. Total comprehensive income for the quarter increased 30.8% YoY to ₹696 crore, while basic EPS surged to ₹3.44 from ₹1.56 in the same period last year.
Segment and Operational Performance
Revenue from power supply increased to ₹2,776 crore during the quarter, up from ₹2,308 crore in the corresponding period last year. The sale of goods and equipment dropped significantly to ₹48 crore from ₹675 crore in Q2FY25.
Other income rose to ₹241 crore compared with ₹206 crore in the previous quarter. Finance costs remained stable at ₹1,635 crore versus ₹1,525 crore in Q1FY26, while depreciation expenses inched up to ₹834 crore.
Half-Yearly Performance (H1FY26)
For the six months ended September 30, 2025, Adani Green reported a total income of ₹7,255 crore, up 11.5% year-on-year from ₹6,508 crore in H1FY25. Profit after tax grew 28.3% YoY to ₹1,468 crore, while earnings per share (EPS) surged 83.8% to ₹7.70 compared to ₹4.19 in the previous year. The company’s strong half-yearly results reflect steady capacity additions and efficient operations across its wind and solar power projects.
Balance Sheet and Earnings
Adani Green’s paid-up equity share capital stood at ₹1,647 crore, while other equity was reported at ₹9,129 crore. The company recorded total comprehensive income of ₹696 crore during the quarter. Basic and diluted earnings per share stood at ₹3.44 for Q2FY26, up from ₹1.56 in Q2FY25, underscoring consistent value creation for shareholders.
Share Price Update
Following the financial results announcement, as of 9:55 pm, the share price of Adani Green Energy Limited was trading at ₹1,038.90, marking a gain of ₹34.70 or 3.46% for the day. The session began at 9:15 AM with an opening price of ₹1,028.00. During the early trade, the stock hit an intraday high of ₹1,044.80 and a low of ₹1,012.10.
The company’s market capitalisation stood at ₹1.71 lakh crore, with a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 103.75. The stock has seen significant volatility over the past year, ranging between a 52-week high of ₹1,733.95 and a low of ₹758.00.
